Thanks so much for the feedback, we really appreciate it!

Just to share our thinking: we make our lifting straps a bit longer on purpose. That way, every lifter can trim them down to their own preferred length based on their wrist size, grip style, and the lifts they do most. We'd rather give you a little extra to work with than have them come up short.

Genau richtig. Zum schweren Heben besser als jegliche Art von Versa Gripps.

Ich hab 1 1/2 Jahr lang mit 5€ Zughilfen von Aldi trainiert. In dieser Zeit habe ich verschiedene Alternativen probiert: Climax Ultra Grips, Level Power Grips, MyProtein 8er Zughilfen.

Mit allen erwähnten Alternativen war ich weniger glücklich als mit den 5€ Aldi Zughilfen, weshalb ich nie vollständig gewechselt bin.

Bei den beiden Zughilfen die wie Versa Gripps sind, hatte ich das Problem, das die Polsterung am Handgelenk viel zu dünn war und der Grip bei 100+ kg Kreuzheben und Nackenheben deutlich schlechter als mit den Aldi Zughilfen war.

Die MyProtein 8er Zughilfen hatten das Problem, dass sie mir egal wie ich sie benutzt habe entweder zu groß oder zu klein waren und deswegen Schmerzen verursacht haben.

Letzten Endes bin ich also jedes Mal wieder auf die Aldi Zughilfen zurück gegangen. Eine Zeit lang habe ich mir damit beholfen Liquid Chalk und Zughilfen gleichzeitig zu verwenden, doch je mehr Gewicht ich bewegen konnte desto weniger Grip hatte ich selbst mit Chalk UND den Aldi Zughilfen.

Die Barbelts Leder Zughilfen sind die ersten Zughilfen bei denen ich wirklich glaube, dass sie endlich meine Aldi Zughilfen ersetzen können. Der Grip bei 140kg Kreuzheben (ohne Chalk!) ist nochmal besser als mit Chalk UND den Aldi Zughilfen. Und auch wenn die Barbelts Zughilfen anfangs etwas hart waren (und es teilweise noch sind, da ich sie erst in 4 - 6 Trainingseinheiten genutzt habe), so lohnt es sich einfach das in Kauf zu nehmen, weil das Gewicht das man damit bewegen kann und der gewährleistete Grip richtig gut sind.

Ich habe schmale Handgelenke also ist der Fakt, dass ich die Zughilfen (durch die fehlende Polsterung) so fest ziehen kann wie ich will ein riesen Pluspunkt. An die fehlende Polsterung gewöhnt man sich mit der Zeit und das Leder wird auch Stück für Stück etwas weicher.

Das einzige Manko, dass ich sehe ist, dass die Zughilfen mit 60cm etwas (5cm) länger sind als meine alten. Ansonsten habe ich nichts zu bemängeln.

Fazit: Alles richtig gemacht. Ich würde sie immer wieder kaufen und für 20 € sind die Barbelts Leder Zughilfen wirklich ein No-Brainer.

Bedankt voor je review over onze Barbelts leren lifting straps. Jammer om te horen dat de straps niet helemaal aan je verwachtingen voldoen.

Leren straps worden, net als andere leren producten, soepeler naarmate je ze vaker gebruikt. Na een aantal trainingen zul je merken dat ze steeds flexibeler en comfortabeler worden in gebruik.

Solid straps

Long(!) straps, well made, give the impression to. Last a lifetime.
They are quite rough tough. I used some wax/fat to smoothen the edges. I expect them to get softer over sweat and time.
